Custom Fabrication Difference
Custom fabrication uses measurements from the building to prepare roof sheets and accessories for its layout. It is particularly relevant at curbs, penetrations and transitions where details must fit the roof. Field seams and connections still need proper installation and inspection; factory preparation does not remove the need for those checks.

Membrane selection should consider the roof’s exposure, expected traffic, attachment method and the complete proposed assembly. Thickness is one specification, not a stand-alone measure of quality or a guarantee of service life. Compare the actual product, compatible accessories and installation details rather than assuming every membrane option performs identically.
Performance and Warranties
Duro-Last offers several warranty categories with different terms. Material, labor, consequential-damage, hail and high-wind coverage are not automatically included in every option. Review the exact written warranty for the proposed system, including its inspection requirements, exclusions and the owner’s maintenance duties, before relying on a particular type of coverage.
